From the series of Blindfold, I call it Mother Earth

This piece of the series Blindfold is representing all of the people who are misled or not guided by God; they are also blindfolded. The Earth is represented as the woman, her blindfold is the representation of the eyes of the people. The clothing is the faces of all human beings from every race and ethnicity, all sharing different emotions. Her pose represents more than just holding herself, she is embracing all those people living on her that are in anguish, lost, and dismal. This force of negativity holds back those who are trying to make better changes in their life. Holding the Earth is represented as God’s hands, he sees all that is happening. His love is great, and his strong steady hands are guiding Earth to eventually land on these rocks. The solid ground is for the Earth to feel stable, to have its people feel secure from God’s presence of giving them this guidance to not feel afraid to be able to remove those blindfolds and see clearly, and have their hearts filled with courage. Having that sense of security in your life gives you a vision of a path that you see and you have no fear of taking it. The man that is between the hands of God is represented here as the devil, or the evil that festers in one’s hearts and thoughts. The moments when you put false hope in your vision. When you do not give a chance to your dreams because fear fills your heart with doubt. The negative energy that pushes you away from the light and fills you with that darkness of staying where you are in life unhappy because you don’t see a clear road ahead of you.
